I've been recording a new album - Lockdown has allowed me to put time into getting the tracks ready for launch. The first two singles 'Pretty Peggy' and 'Devil Dancing' are available here.

I recently hooked up remotely with Arran Harp player and artist Heather McLeod. We produced an instrumental version from one of the new album tracks and used it on a homespun lockdown video. View here.

I played guitars on the new tracks from Scottish singer-songwriter Kirsteen Harvey. Kirsteen has released the tracks online along with two beautiful music videos... Check them out here.

I played a socially distanced live performance for the Crofters Arran music project for MyPlayer.uk - The project aims to keep live music going in these bizarre times with professionally produced live gigs. I was joined by fiddle player Donal Boyle on several of the tracks - watch the video of Irish Eyes here.

From nights out on the busling new live music scene in Glasgow to magical journeys along the historical west coast of Scotland, the Whispers EP is a reflection of ideas, sounds, stories and memories, walking along city rivers, days and nights in the country, fresh air and wood fires, rain and wind, friends and family, dreams and regrets, ideas, stories and songs collected in notebooks, sketchpads and scraps of paper, soundbytes from voice recorders taken apart and pieced back together,

The cover image on the ep, 'Pixie in a pot', is part of a collection of work from artist and potter Agnieszka Mizia who runs the Dreamtime Studio in Inveraray.

'One of the top albums to come out of Scotland in recent years', this 11 track album was recorded mixed and mastered in 10 days in the beautiful Pentland hills Sound Cafe studio just outside of Edinburgh. The music has gained rave reviews and has been played on national radio & TV. The track 'Little Swallow' was used on the BBC3 show Lip Service. Several independant film companies have used tracks from the album and it continues to gain great feedback from around the Globe. Mic Clark, Olivia Ennemoser and percussionist Ian Murray performed several of the songs at the 2010 Celtic Connections festival where they were showcased live on the BBC as finalists in the Danny Kyle Award.
